Cape Town Civic Centre offices closed on 24 and 25 June for necessary maintenance

The City’s customer and motor vehicle registration and licence (MVRL) offices based at the Cape Town Civic Centre will be closed on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June 2023 for unavoidable maintenance. Customers should please consider other offices elsewhere in the metro. The City apologises for any inconvenience.
Motorists who would like to pay their fines in person, may do so at the various other cash offices within the metro. Motorists are further advised that they will not be able to make fines and warrant payments online during this time.
Fine payment can also not be made at the various retail outlets during this time, including selected Spar shops, as well as Ackermans, Builders Warehouse, Game, Makro, PEP, Pick n Pay and Shoprite/Checkers Money Market kiosks.

The Revenue Department’s cash receiving, account enquiries and motor vehicle registration and licensing offices situated at Liberty Promenade Mall, Table Bay Mall and Lansdowne Corner Mall will be open on the above mentioned dates as they will not be affected.
Municipal accounts may be paid at any Shoprite/Checkers, Pick n Pay, PEP, Woolworths, USave, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up and selected Spar shops. Online payments may be made at www.powertime.co.za and www.easypay.co.za.
For account payments:
• Online: www.Easypay.co.za or www.powertime.co.za
• EFTs: Select the City as a bank-listed beneficiary. Use only your nine-digit municipal account number as reference
• Retailers: Shoprite/Checkers, Pick n Pay, PEP, Woolworths, USave, Ackermans, Lewis, Top It Up and selected Spar shops
• ATM: contact your bank to add the City as an ATM beneficiary
